Context

Given that our everyday life is inundated with technology, so much so that it makes us crazy, Offline is a mobile app that enables its users to better manage their «disconnection» moments to enjoy them fully. By being connected to other applications on the smartphone, the app helps automate away messages based on the specific circumstances (leisure, office, family, sport, etc.).

To make sure its users get the best user experience from the moment it was rolled out, Offline solicited StarDust to test the application on the most representative devices on the market. The brand also has a website, tested by StarDust, which describes the app concept and functionalities.

 

     

 

Test objectives

  • Ensure the overall quality of the application before its first launch in the Stores
  • Validate the functionalities related to the cross-connectivity with social networks
  • Find as many bugs as possible in the app and website

 

 

Methodology

2 test campaigns based on an exploratory testing approach and carried out on 14 devices
